National impact [Trailblazing protection from HPV vaccination]

As Nigeria's leader in school-based HPV vaccination, we launched the country's largest initiative in 2014 to protect female lives. We raised awareness and provided vaccinations—one school at a time—using a low-cost delivery model. We forged critical partnerships with key organizations and sponsors, such as Rotary International, to deliver tens of thousands of HPV vaccines at no cost or at a reduced price to schoolgirls. Our pioneering work laid a vital foundation, equipping communities and contributing critical expertise to support a successful national roll-out in 2023.
